On Sunday, March 19, Byram Township police responded to 1 High-To-Ga Trail to try and arrest a woman wanted for taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
While outside the residence, police said they observed the fugitive, Monika M. Wolverton, inside.
Once a search warrant for the residence was granted, police entered the residence and found Wolverton hiding inside a cabinet, they said.
Wolverton was arrested, taken to the station for processing and then to Morris County Correctional Facility pending court.
